WavePad is audio editing software for Windows. This program lets you make and edit voice, music and other audio recordings. You can cut, copy and paste parts of recording and, if required, add effects like echo, amplification and noise reduction.

Review by mard: I thought it was freeware Wavepad has been a superb utility for editing MP3 samples. I have been samplib my old vinyl to computer and wavepad is excelelnt for thoe albums where there is no gap between tracks. Easy to use and efficient. Good job. (4/5 - 5-Jun-2008)

Review by Al: Easy to use recorder. You can convert your recording to one of several formats for export. For some reason, I thought it was freeware and was surprised to be tapped for cash at the end of the built-in trial period (which I was unaware of). Seems to have uninstalled cleanly.
