Xilisoft AVI 2 DVD Converter 2.0.13.0830

This program is extremely slow. It deserves a 1 star but it's not bad for converting audio formats so it is merely "bad." I am running a Mac Pro desktop with 4gb of Ram and Quad 2.66 processors and it takes ALL DAY to convert an AVI to PS3 format? Are you joking? It claims to be "dual core capable" but it's a lie. What they mean is you can convert more than one thing at once, but while converting, it will only use one cpu. A JOKE. And they charge for this program too.

Only uses 25% of of available system resources on my system which slows things down quite a lot. Burning too is painfully slow and acording to my calculations it must be burning with under 1x dvd speed?!? Wont recommend this unless you have alot of time to waste

very disappointed, the product is very slow, taking up to 5 hours to convert AVI to dvd, i'd be able to convert to div-x quicker than that, andn at least i'd know that works on my dvd player! i have been through the support process and have established that dvd-r disks just DON'T work! finally after sacrificing several disks and many hours changing settings as their support team suggested, i managed to burn a LOW QUALITY video output onto DVD-RW. this is the ONLY disk that worked. it took hours, and was low quality, not the dolution advertised. and they refused to give a refund. don't buy! other avi to dvd converters worked fine on dvd-r and my dvd player, so it's just this software at fault!
