Review by Alex: The best disk cataloger I have ever seen. And I've found uniquie features while using a trial (like an ability to define location, boolean logic in search quieries, virtual folders and custom records).

Grissom: The good news is that I spent three full days downloading and evaluating all web based catalogs that I could find on the internet and Streamcat was hands-down absolutely the best for a stationary image catalog. The instructions were well written and very easy to understand. It is also the best looking and most efficient site realestate usage image catalog that I have ever seen. This is definately my choice for all image catalog sites that I design from this point forward - inspite of a bad start. (5/5 - 28-Sep-2006)

Review by Tortula: I felt I needed to clarify my rating of "usable". I successfully created an empty database and attempted to make what the programme calls a "mirror" which scans the chosen drive for files and folders. When I tried to do this for my DVD disc in the drive it came up with an error that the path could not be found. Yet I was able to successfully mirror the files on my external USB hard drive. So I regard the software is usable but as I specifically want a piece of software that is able to catalogue what is on my DVD discs I did not find this software usable or appropriate for that.

The company announces the software as free. After you install it and try to kill a process a popup informs that only the pro version which is paid can do the job. This is a bad fait commercial
The software is not bad, but the support and the message boards are a disaster. The administration is heavy handed and arbitrary in their decisions. Trying to get a real answer to a question
Sadly I have to agree with HJ. Stay away from the associated message board if you can, and use Fertility Friend software if you want a free version of the Ovusoft program.
Most CORRUPT Software. Stay away from it. After locking your files, forces you to but the buy the license. And no option to uninstall.
