I tried many virtual CD emulators, many of them caused my test computer to crash or malfunction, nut not MagicDisc. Unlike other programs, when it was installed, the Windows "New Hardware Found" message appeared in the tray. In other words, it emulated new hardware. My only criticism is that it does not allow you to lock down the program so users without Admin rights can't make changes. But his is a small criticism for a program that is free. Review by Jake Brumby: I have used this AJAX image magnifier script on a number of websites. It is a superb piece of coding - lightweight yet worked on all platforma and browsers I tested it on (PC and Mac, IE, Firefox, Opera, Safari). It is XHTML compliant. It is easy to install - you don't need much technical knowledge at all. I ssearched for ages to find a script like this. I could not find anything for free. I did find one other good script but it was available under license from an American company and had huge ongoing costs. However, with the LuckyZoom script, the price is once only per website and you can use it on that site forever. Top marks to LuckyTeam. (5/5 - 5-Nov-2006)
