Review by Donna: SEO Spyglass is awsome! I've been playing with their demo for two hours -- and then bought it. It's one of the most wonderful tools for anyone who is serious about promoting a website (5/5 - 1-Jun-2007) Review by TL: Purchased the full version of Spyglass a while back and I have been underwhelmed. SEO Spyglass basically does what it says ... but you're not going to be surprised by great results. Of course, it is just reporting information that is readily available from the search engines. I thought it might be worthwhile to have it gather everything into one place, but I was wrong. *) It is very basic. You can put in keywords or a URL and have the tool examine it. *) I found that the results were off-topic. That is, not what relevant for what I wanted. The real disadvantage is that you can't re-direct/pare down the results. You know how you use advanced search techniques in search engines to find what you really want? You can't do that with ... Review by IrishPuterGeek: Terrible support. Do not expect a response. Had to modify the output manually everytime I indexed and I still have a question about how to customize the output automatically. Be an expert in Javascript if you use this program because you will not get any help from them. No support number and 5+ emails over 3 days from 3 seperate accounts have gone unanswered. Terrible! Review by John Hyams: An easy to use, straightforward program that generates a good distributable index and search engine for CDs. Adjustable and flexible search interface that runs in a browser. The only thing that bothers me is that the end-user has to install a Web/Browser component in order to use the search. Some users don't like installing foreign stuff on their computer, and some corporate users are ever prohibited from doing so... (4/5 - 6-Sep-2006)
