Review by Phyllis Stendebach: I have 3 licenses. All are still beta 2. Developer was supposed to issue frequent updates to malware, etc scanned for. Auto updts rarely worked. Manual updating rarely worked. Downloading a fresh copy of the software worked. All of that said--program rescued an old Compaq 1.5Ghz as soon as I bought it and ran it. Has the program been sold to a new developer? (5/5 - 18-May-2008)

Review by Dutch: I use this program on a daily basis for over a year. working in a public library I download 100s of programs to try out first on my computer before installing them elsewhere. this programs has completely protected me from some otherwise very nasty spyware adn viruses. All it took was a reboot and things were back as they were a month ago. Also a 'Deepfreeze' user, a similar program to shadowsurfer, I have had the blue screen of death appear with the last message before dying was from deepfrz.sys - shadow surfer has never given me any problems. infact it has saved my PCs, and my time. Review by Lucas: I also have an XP, It's great to use and very simple. Although I was having problems with it a while ago it was due to a freak accident downloading some other software it could not pick up. I've downloaded it once again and it has been one of the best anti-spyware software I ever used. Scanning with free AVG anti-spyware and windows defender will make your computer EXTREMELY safe. (4/5 - 4-Mar-2008) Review by Topcut: Is true you can scan for free but to delete you have to buy....Many companies do that..My problem was My Firefox browser was going direct to UK sites as soon as I got on the net...speed was slow and sluggish and I have cable...I downloaded Spyware bot scan the computer. it found several files one was 123 something or other..so I bought the program after trying several others that did not recognize the file..One of the curses of the 123 file was it changed your browser...anyway after buying it, it deleted the file and my browser is normal again...also the speed is back to normal again if not faster....So, as far as I am concerned it did do some good...worth the 19 bucks it cost me (4/5 - 4-Jan-2007) Review by Terri: This program found more items to remove than my prvious program, but most in cookies I can delete. I would keep it but my computer keeps shutting down and freezing up since I installed it. I am removing it today. Beware, they tell you the free download will scan and remove, but it does not. It only scans and then you have to pay more than the bigger more popular companies! (3/5 - 3-Oct-2006) Review by Bill: I'm running XP. When I try to uninstall your program via Control Panel --> Add/Remove Program I get an error message telling me that the program doesn't exist, hence can't uninstall it. Yet your program is there occupying 8.21 MB of my hard drive. How do I uninstall your program as I've had nothing but trouble with my computer since installing it?
